Are you looking for first hand experience working on a large international Arts and Culture Festival?

Volunteers are certainly the life-blood of the Festival of World Cultures and their involvement has grown exponentially as this vibrant annual celebration has gained momentum.
In 2007 approximately 300 volunteers assisted in a wide variety of tasks over the Festival weekend including: Artist Liaisons, Production & technical Assistants, Volunteer Supervisors, Performance Stewards and Hospitality Facilitators.

All volunteers are given Health & Safety training, a pack of goodies from various sponsors and they enjoy the privilege of automatic membership to the Volunteers Club. Most of all, however, they are an integral part of something special.

Fantastic mixing with different cultures from around the globe and seeing their amazing talents of art/music being displayed. The 2 years in a row I have worked here, I made 2 great friends, German and Polish. This festival shows you how small the world really is!!! Liz O’Callaghan, Ireland
