Transylvanian rockers, ethno funksters, folk heroes. Hungarian’s favourite musicians Kerekes Band sure know how to cook up a symphonic Hungarian goulash of top-shelf jazz, rock and psychedelic electronica. Mixing influences from James Brown, Bob Marley, Jamiroquai and Dreadzone, layered with traditional Hungarian folk songs, this five piece gets dance floors east and west of the Danube up and grooving. Selected as the Hungarian Ambassador for the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, they’ll turn up the summer heat with their foot-stomping mix of dance floor trad!
