Four talented percussionists – Brian Fleming, Sadanand Maghee, Michele Scala & Koushik Chandrashekar – come together to present an ensemble of instruments; tabla, djembe, bodhrán, bones, darbuka, snare drum, dholak and mridangam (Indian drum of Tamil origin) which will fuse beats from the Indian subcontinent, Middle East, Africa and Ireland.

Listen to the sound of ‘Tipper’ beating on a Celtic instrument blend with Thekas (Hindusthani music), the ‘Maqsoum’ (Meditaranian music) meeting Talas (Carnatic music) and the rustic sound of the djembe (African folk) synchronize with the sharp high volume sound produced by the drums (western music). A truly enjoyable percussion treat with a South Asian twist!
