Hiralal and Ramji belong to the Gandharba music community, who according to Hindu mythology, ‘Gandharbas’ are the winged musicians of Gods. They play an important role in preserving and spreading Nepalese folklore and have taken part in many Concerts and workshops all over Ireland. Don’t miss these two charming musicians perform with their traditional instruments; the Sarangi (folk Nepalese string instrument) and Madal (Nepalese hand drum) as they transport the audience to Nepal, while their Nepalese dancers Raju Tamang and Meena Tamang perform traditional Nepalese dance.
