Be transported to all corners of the world through the melting pot of the Festival’s Global Village. Experience the patchwork of accents, fabrics, sights and scents as traders from far and wide congregate to bring you their very own slice of culture.

Tap out a tune on a drum from Kenya, dance to the sound of the singing bowls from Tibet or try on some vintage jewels from Italy. Visitors too can feast themselves throughout the day with French pastries for breakfast, some Polish pierogies for lunch and the ultimate falafel for dinner.

Oxfam, Ireland’s Fair Trade pioneer since 1986, has the widest range of Fair Trade crafts and foods in the country. They bring a great selection of their products from all over the world to the Festival’s Global Village. Call in to see the selection from countries such as Indonesia, India, Tanzania and Peru, and talk to the staff and volunteers from their shop on South King Street, Dublin.
