Alongside performances in a beautiful yurt the Faith Space zone plays host outdoors to a mural display of the tree of compassion for your contributions, children’s dove-wreath making with Girl guides and a Tibetan prayer flag station and if you simply want to relax and chat, sip green tea and enjoy a silent pause among others you can do so while reflecting on the Golden rule across various faith traditions.

The Lantern Centre: CHILDREN’s STORY TIME from across the faith traditions
Rev. Bill Darlison of the Unitarian Church has gathered and published a book of more than one hundred stories which he dedicated to work of The Lantern Centre on Synge Street. These have already been read with children to share the message of compassion. The children will be invited to gather around presenters who will use a variety of ways to narrate. Adults will also enjoy and decipher the real power and immense depth of these stories.

Dlr Refugee Project in association with Conscious Collective
Gabriel and Segun who are musicians, singers and part of the dlr refugee programme will sketch a performance through drumming, dance and narrative telling of the emotional experiences of a refugee in transit. The positive advice that comes forth extends from having to move through these experiences first hand.

Clay Modelling and meditation with the Baha’i Community
Bahá’í communities all over the world work for unity as we believe that “The well-being of mankind, its peace and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established” (Bahá’u’lláh) During this special session participants will share this vision in an audio-visual presentation of quotations from the Bahá’í Writings and through The ‘Clay Modelling Meditation’ is a fun, interactive and creative activity. An inspiring quotation is read and participants meditate for a short time and create a clay model inspired by the meditation.

A Guides Own Ceremony & Unity Wreath: Irish Girl Guides
A Guide’s Own is a very special type of ceremony, used at Guiding events as a time for personal reflection for people of all faiths. Witness and share with the guides celebrating the good in people, kindness, compassion, charity, respect, empathy, call for greater cooperation between people, encourage the girls to live up to their full potential and ask that people do their best to live life in a moral and ethical way.

The Sounds of Satsang: Flute and Poetry with Katrine Kristiansen
Katrine Kristiansen satsang facilitator will share poetry and flute pieces while reflecting on how compassion is born within each of us. Through discussion and interacting with those present Katrine will share how a quiet mind, calm heart and relaxed body can radiate connectedness with all beings and how compassion is the fruit of this connectedness.

Journey through with Gospel: An interactive set on the pressing needs of people impacted by conflict, HIV and displacement and touched by the experience of compassion in action
Discovery Gospel Choir partner up with Storytellers Reuben Coulter, CEO of Tearfund Ireland who speaks about Darfur and conflict alongside Juliet Amamure, originally from Uganda and who directs Diaspora Women’s Initiative, a project for women of various faith backgrounds living with HIV in Ireland and Richard Carson, Education Director of ACET Ireland. This very unique collaboration journeys through an interactive repertoire of discussion, gospel music and prayer space focused on the pressing needs of people across faith and cultural communities who have been impacted by displacement and faced challenging transitions.

Lama Nyendak & Drepung Loseling Monks
At the closing of the Faith Space, the monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery will perform sacred chanting that will dedicate the merit gained through all the activities that have taken place in the space over the weekend to the benefit and future enlightenment to all sentient beings.
