The Dogon are an ancient cliff-dwelling people of deep mystery and a unique culture from Mali, West Africa.  Their ritual and ceremonial masks are an incredible sight decorated in striking colours developed from the reddish sand which surrounds them.  In this workshop participants will make the ‘kanaga’ bird mask, the most recognised of all Dogon masks. Made with recycled materials. All materials supplied.
