A symbol of myths and legends, the Celtic Shield was used by warriors throughout Europe from the 6th Century BC to early AD. These round or oblong shields – originally made from wood and hide and decorated with striking Celtic motifs, protected the warrior in battle. In this workshop learn how to make your very own piece of ancient armour with recycled materials.
